As we progressed into the 80’s the Pop art art style evolved into The Memphis Art style. Originated by the “Memphis Design Group” led by Italian Designer Ettore Sottsass, This Style is characterized by brightly colored shapes and lines. This style has been a motif throughout the 80’s and early 2000’s as it is constantly used by popular music channel MTV, which was a key fixture in music history and pop culture at that time.
Minimalist
Despite the loud and bold nature of the previous entries, sometimes Less is more. Minimalism is best described as Direct and elegant as it utilizes on the use of text and font elements and a minimal color pallete to create a fun yet clean design.
Chrome
By the 2010’s rolled in and into the present day. The advancement of technology has drawn inspiration and gave way new mediums and softwares for Creatives to experiment with; from Film, Music and Art.
